1. Abrogation - रद्दीकरण 
  • (noun) the fact of officially ending a law, an agreement, etc.  
  • Synonyms- repudiation, repeal, cancellation, annulment
  • Antonyms - commandment, mandating, sanctioning, ordering
2. Aggravate - बिघडवणे

  • (verb) Make (a problem, injury, or offense) worse or more serious / Annoy or exasperate (someone), esp. persistently
  • Synonyms- irritate, exasperate, annoy, exacerbate, anger, worsen, peeve, rile, needle
  • Antonyms- soothe, alleviate, comfort, improve, appease, ameliorate, mollify, allay

3. Berate- रागावणे 

  • (verb) Scold or criticize (someone) angrily
  • Synonyms- rebuke, reprove, reprimand, chide
  • Antonyms - laud, praise
4. Brute - दुष्ट, कठोर, निर्दयी

  • (adjective) Unreasoning and animallike / Merely physical / Harsh, fundamental, or inescapable
  • Synonyms- beast, animal, savage, monster, barbarian, fiend, devil, ogre, brutal, fauna
  • Antonyms - kind-hearted, angel, man, humane, sympathetic, beautiful, champion
5. Colossal - प्रचंड, विशाल 
  • ( adjective) Extremely large / (of a giant order) Having more than one story of columns / (of a statue) At least twice life size
  • Synonyms- huge, massive, giant, mammoth
  • Antonyms - tiny, small, minute, little, diminutive
6. Foment-   भडकावणे 
  • (verb) to create trouble or violence or make it worse 
  • Synonyms- incite, instigate, provoke, excite, stir up, spark off
  • Antonyms - soothe, calm, discourage, tranquilize
7. Exorbitant -  अतिशय जास्त 

  • (adjective) (of a price or amount charged) unreasonably high
  • Synonyms- extortionate, outrageous, excessive, steep, unreasonable, dear, stiff, usurious, inflated
  • Antonyms - cheap, frugal, affordable, reasonable, dirt cheap, el cheapo, good, sensible
8. Gusto -  उत्साह 
  • (noun) Enjoyment and enthusiasm in doing something zest / a relish or liking / style of artistic execution 
  • Synonyms- zest, relish, delight, verve
  • Antonyms - indifference, apathy

9. Hapless - भाग्यहीन 

  • (adjective) (esp. of a person) Unfortunate
  • Synonyms- Unfortunate, cursed, luckless, doomed
  • Antonyms - fortunate, blessed, propitious

10. Lamented - शोक व्यक्त करणे,  दिवंंगत

  • (adjective) A conventional way of describing someone who has died or something that has been lost or that has ceased to exist
  • Synonyms- regretted, late, deplored, deceased, mourn, rued, grieved
  • Antonyms- joyed, gloried, caroused, celebrated, unlamented, rejoiced, submarginal, praised
11. Lure-  आमिष 
  • (verb) tempt (a person or an animal) to do something or to go somewhere, esp., by offering some form of reward
  • Synonyms- attract, draw, entice, allure, tempt, bait, seduce, decoy, enticement, pull, inveigle
  • Antonyms- repel, alert, dissuade, antipathy, appall, apprehend, boredom, deter, discourage, dishearten, 
12. Rudderless- दिशाहीन 
  • (adjective)Lacking a rudder / Lacking a clear sense of one's aims or principles
  • Synonyms- aimless, purposeless, meaningless
  • Antonyms - purposeful, determined
13. Sanguine - आशावादी
  • (adjective) Cheerfully optimistic
  • Synonyms- confident, hopeful, optimistic, ruddy, upbeat, rubicund, florid, buoyant, bullish
  • Antonyms- pessimistic, depressed, sad, soulcrushing, blue, pale, pallid, sallow, uncertain, ashen, unsure
14. Satraps - तानाशाह

  • (noun) A provincial governor in the ancient Persian empire / Any subordinate or local ruler
  • Synonyms- governor, ruler, autocrat, monarch 
 15. Spearheaded - नेतृत्व करणे 
  • (verb) Lead an attack or movement against somebody / something
  • Synonyms- lead, head, be the driving force behind 
  • Antonyms - stop, finish, end
16. Underlying - मूलभूत 
  • (verb) (esp. of a layer of rock or soil) Lie or be situated under (something) / Be the cause or basis of (something)
  • Synonyms- basic, fundamental, essential, inherent, primary, rudimentary, latent, hidden
  • Antonyms- ancillary, secondary, incidental, superjacent, overt, auxiliary, candid, explicit
17. Vainglorious - गुमान, गर्विष्ठ 
  • (adjective) excessively proud of oneself or one's achievement, overly vain
  • Synonyms- conceited, haughty, vain
  • Antonyms- humble, modest, unpretentious 
18. Vigour - ताकद 
  • (noun) active strength of body or mind / forceful exertion
  • Synonyms - energy, strength, verve, spirit, vitality, dynamism, zest, vim, liveliness
  • Antonyms - laziness, boredom, fearfulness, ennui, anguish, craziness, fatigue
